Car Park Height Restrictor Barrier

Designed to prevent over-height or heavy goods vehicles from entering car parks or areas restricted to cars and light commercial vehicles.

Alexandra Security car park height barriers are constructed of galvanised steel to be robust and sturdy. Designed and manufactured to fit your precise height limitation and width. Our height restrictors are suitable for a wide-range of car park entrances and areas where restrictions exist, such as pedestrian areas, railway stations, and multi-story and underground parking.

Height Restrictor Swing Arm Opening Option

Where occasionally taller or over-height vehicles are required to enter the restricted area, the horizontal arm of the restriction barrier can rotate open 90° in the desired direction to allow access. The handing and direction of the swing can be specified at the time of order.

Lockable In Open Position

For extra safety when the barrier arm is open, an additional catch post can be supplied to enable the height restrictor bar to be locked in place. This is especially useful for car parks that are in use to over height vehicles during the day but need to restrict access out-of-hours.

The headroom access clearance height can also be clearly marked using a high visibility sign attached to the height restrictor barrier. Additionally, a nudge bar can be added so that if a vehicle does attempt to enter the area, it will not damage the barrier structure.

As standard, barriers are supplied in a galvanised finish. If you’d like your height restrictor to match your brand or company colours or stand out further, powder coating to any RAL colour is also available on a short lead time.
