Protek 656 Clamp – Twin Wire Security Fencing – Clamp System

The Protek 656 Clamp system is an ideal perimeter security fence due to its twin-wire welded mesh design.

Protek 656 steel mesh panels use twin 6mm diameter horizontal wires, in-between a 5mm vertical wire, creating a welded mesh that is stronger than the single-wire Protek 1000 or 2000 systems. Thanks to its twin-wire design, it much more difficult to cut through the fence. Intruders are also prevented from climbing over due to and flat mesh construction as well as the smaller apertures between the wires. Adjoining 656 panels are held together with a full vertical length clamp bar pinned into posts using pre-drilled holes. Compared to traditional clip mesh fencing systems, this provides a higher level of security as well as making the fixings vandal resistant.

Available In A Range Of Heights & Grounding Options

Heights of Protek 656 Clamp panels start at 1m high and go up to a maximum of 3m for a single panel. On the 3m panels, slightly larger posts are supplied to support the greater weight of the fence panels. All posts are available in dig-in or bolt-down (postcrete mix available separately for dig-in posts). Bolt-down posts are suitable for anchoring into concrete, ideal for use around business parks, commercial properties and public sector buildings.

One Of The UK’s Leading Metal Security Fencing Suppliers

Alexandra Security is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of wire mesh security fencing, and our Protek fencing is manufactured to a high standard. Each fence panel is supplied in a galvanised finish for long term rust protection, and if required a polyester powder coat finish to a colour of your choice can be applied to give extra protection and an improved aesthetic appeal. Green mesh is typically the standard finish on our fencing panels, allowing the fence to blend in with rural surroundings. Black is also a popular alternative for more urban sites.

    Posts, Clamps and Fixings

The posts and full length clamp bars that Alexandra Security Limited offers provide a fixing system which secures the panels but allows for variations. The system is easy to install and allows the panels to be stepped, helping the fence line to follow the contours of the ground. With the vandal resistant security fixings this post and clamp system provides a higher level of security than the traditional clip system.
