Metal Railings
Alexandra Security manufactures and supplies a wide range of metal railings in a variety of different styles and finishes.
Decorative safety railings provide a strong physical safety barrier that can be used in a wide range of applications. Here at Alexandra Security, we have many decades of experience in designing and fabricating railings that meet the customer spec and are truly fit for purpose. Below are just some of the styles we offer. If you project requires a specific type of rail, then please get in touch with our team.
Vertical Bar Railings
When a traditional, long lasting, solid boundary fence is required, choose Vertical Bar Railings; Ranging in height from 1.2m to 2m, Vertical Bar is available with blunt, spiked or domed top and, for a more individual appearance, cranked, convex or turret options are available. Vertical Bar is supplied as standard with a 100mm maximum gap, rolled steel joist posts, angle cleats, security fixings and round bar verticals. We also offer a range of decorative head finishes, including traditional Brenchley, Bodiam, Hunton and Penshurst.
Bow Top Railings
Bow Top Metal Railings are often used around public open spaces to create boundaries that are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, while being safe to the public due to not having any sharp edges. They are also suitable for play areas, schools and housing developments. Bow Top Railings are available in multiple styles, including interlaced, Silverstone and Brenchley top finishes. We stock common panel lengths and heights, as well as being able to manufacture to custom specifications.
Estate Rail Fencing
Estate Railings are traditional style railings that are often associated with country parks, rural estates and farming/parkland areas. Comprised of wide-set horizontal metal bars, supported by wider vertical bars to provide good stability, Estate Rail is a cost-effective method of securing a large perimeter. The larger gaps between the horizontal bars reduces the risk of getting trapped in-between the railings, while also allowing smaller wildlife to pass through.
Knee Rail
Also know as Trip Rail, metal Knee Rail is used to provide a low height barrier to grassed or planted areas. It creates a boundary line without obstructing views, and is great for preventing vehicles parking on areas that may be easily damaged. Metal knee rail is also less susceptible to vandalism and requires less maintenance than timber alternatives.
Long Lasting Protection
All of our railing products are hot dip galvanised to give them a long-lasting anti-rush coating. In addition, they can also be powder coated to a large range of RAL colours. Our team of experts is on hand to help you with your next railing project and answer any questions you may have. All of our bespoke railing projects are supplied with CAD drawings, so you can sign-off on the design before it is fabricated.
