Manufactured in the UK to a very high standard, our twin-wire gates are ideal as an entrance solution when combined with 868 or 656 security mesh fencing. The twin-wire design makes them much stronger than wooden or single-wire gates, and more aesthetically appealing than the more industrial looking metal palisade gates.

The Protek range of 868 and 656 gates feature overlapping mesh wires to form a very strong mesh barrier that is difficult to cut through or climb over. The mesh is welded to a heavy-duty gate frame and attached with strong hinges to dig-in posts.

Gates Design With Safety As Standard

Every twin-wire gate in the Alexandra range comes supplied with gate restrainers. These safety devices are fitted between the frame and the metal gate hinge posts, and will prevent the gate frame from falling in the unlikely event that either of the hinges fail. These restrainers are rated to BS EN 12604 and have been tested on gates up to 500kg.

To make the gate extra safe for school use, all drop-bolts on the twin-wire range are designed inline. Rather than protruding outside of the gate frame, they are designed to go directly through the gate, reducing sharp edges and helping prevent the chance of an accidental injury. Both the drop-bolts and slide latch feature openings to allow padlocks to be fitted. The horizontal slide-latch also features rounded edges, with no protruding edges.
