As part of their ongoing refurbishment program, Hertfordshire based Kings Langley football club, one of the oldest clubs in the UK, has installed Alexandra’s Protek Spectator Rail, using 868 mesh and a clip fixing.

While the average number of spectators expected at the Kings Langley ground won’t rival teams in the Premier League (just yet, anyway) there’s still a need to provide a safe environment for fans of all ages, and the tough 868 twin wire mesh will easily keep stray footballs within the field of play.

Alexandra worked with the  installer, to come up with an installation solution that would work with the various height differences around the perimeter of the pitch, creating a single run of fencing interrupted only by the matching double leaf gates that punctuated the perimeter.

For this particular installation, Kings Langley went for a black finish, which thanks to modern powder coating technologies will continue to look good for many seasons to come, but with an almost limitless pallet at our disposal Alexandra can make sure that a team’s colours are incorporated into this very visible part of the grounds structure.
