SR1 Rated 868 Twin-Wire Mesh Fence System
Protek 868 Elite is an improved version of our 868 twin-wire system which has been granted approval by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) for meeting the SR1 security standard.
The LPCB is a board that collaborates with the UK government to establish security product standards, which buyers can use to assess a product’s resistance to attack. To attain LPCB approval, a product must undergo comprehensive testing to meet the SR rating, which is the minimum standard for security.
SR1 security fencing is capable of withstanding opportunistic forced entry attempts using simple tools such as cable cutters, screwdrivers, knives, and hammers for up to 1 minute. This, combined with Protek 868’s double wire design, creates a security fence that is very hard to cut through or force entry.
SR1 rated 868 fencing is ideal for security critical perimeter installations, such as around infrastructure, financial depots and government buildings. For extra security, a variety of fence toppers can also be added, such as our rotating anti-climb fence spikes.
Various Sizes And Colours Available
Protek 868 Elite is available in heights from 1.8m, up to 3m. For 3 meter heights, the size of the supporting posts is increased to ensure maximum stability. All our of 868 mesh panels are galvanised to provide long-lasting weather protection, and can also be powder coated to over 1000 RAL colours, with RAL 6005 (Moss Green) held in stock for fast dispatch.
